We're Courtyard, a five piece indie-rock outfit from Rochester, New York. Currently, we're
working on our debut, seven-track, self-titled album. We enjoy writing bops, getting noise complaints,
and playing in basements.
Incidentally, we're also very popular amongst the RIT community for freelance jazz bookings.

Gabriela Rivera Araujo is a vocalist and nobody knows where she’s from. She has a background in musical theater and jazz. Some of Gaby's favorite artists are Jazmine Sullivan, HAIM, Dinah Washington, and Lake Street Dive.
Max Klot is a multi-instrumnentalist, songwriter, producer, and audio engineer from Brooklyn, New York. Some of his favorite artists are Peach Pit, Lawrence, Lake Street Dive, Sure Sure, and Vulfpeck.
Ryan Richter is a saxophonist from Vermont. With a background in Jazz, Ryan adds a unique flare to the band’s sound. Some of Ryan’s favorite artists are Lawrence, Reliably Bad, Lake Street Dive, and Couch.
Michael Reineke is a bass player from North Jersey. He’s played with bands in NYC, New Orleans, and Osnabrück, Germany, stealing licks from Flea, John Ferrara, and Les Claypool, but don't worry, he'll give them back.
Jack Moreland is a drummer from Lebanon, New Jersey. He has a background in percussion, jazz, thrifting, and crime. Some of his favorite artists are Benches, Orange Dog Club, and “Slaughter Beach, Dog”.
